Dana Airlines’ pilots embark on strike, disrupt flights
A disagreement with management over promised largess has snowballed into a strike action by pilots of Dana Airlines resulting in the suspension of normal flight operations on Thursday.
Scheduled flights have been disrupted with passengers booked to travel with the airline stranded at airports across the country.
At the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, announcements are made intermittently to communicate the development to customers waiting to board flights.
The spokesperson of the airline, Kingsley Ezenwa, told PREMIUM TIMES the management was working hard to resolve the crisis within a short time to enable it restore normal flight operations
Updated News....
It seems Dana Airlines might have reached a form of agreement with its striking pilots as the first Dana Airline flight from Lagos just departed about 1634hrs local time for Abuja call sign Danaco 0357.
