Tooradin Airfield plane crash landing: lucky escape for four people

AN EYEWITNESS believes it’s a miracle four people including a child inside a plane which crash landed weren’t killed.

Bystanders including an off-duty paramedic also rushed to their aid.

The incident happened at Tooradin Airfield southeast of Melbourne at about 1.15pm yesterday.

An Ambulance Victoria spokesman said four people were being treated for shock and minor injuries.

All were taken to Frankston Hospital for assessment.

Among those onboard include a man aged 20 with neck pain, a 30-year-old woman with shoulder injuries, and a 50-year-old man with minor cuts and abrasions.
