Pilot launches unique information hub

Concerned for the future of aviation, an Aldwick pilot has set up a unique online information hub.

George Coe, 19, of Osborne Way, fears young enthusiasts may not have access to the opportunities he has had and wants to provide a central source of information and advice to help them.

“Any help, advice or support I offer is totally independent, based on my knowledge, qualifications and experience,” he points out.

“I am not a careers adviser or flying instructor but I aim to give honest, unofficial help in order to assist people’s progress within the aviation industry.”

Having been brought up in the area, George completed a lot of his training at Goodwood Aerodrome.

“I have been lucky enough to kick-start my flying career with the help of many people – through scholarships, experiences, opportunities and more,” he explained.

“With many young people living locally, I would hope that I can encourage and inspire more people by enlightening them to the local and national aviation information.

“Many people have asked me about my path so far and more specifically about scholarships, bursaries, sponsorships, practical flying and other aviation career aspects.
