Eastern Idaho Plane Crash Kills Four

Investigators from the Federal Aviation Administration are expected today on the scene of a March 13 plane crash near the Palisades Reservoir on the Idaho/Wyoming border.

The Bonneville County Sheriff's Office confirmed four people—two men and two women—were killed in the Sunday afternoon crash north of Alpine, Wyo. The names of the deceased have not been released.

In addition to the sheriff's department, emergency responders included several area fire departments and the U.S. Forest Service.

The plane was described as a four-seat Cessna. Officials said the  plane had been completely destroyed in the crash and subsequent fire.

This is the second fatal air crash in the Palisades Reservoir area this year. Two people were killed in a crash near the Alpine, Wyo. airport in January.
