Emergency services at Conington Airfield near Holme after light plane crash injures one
The emergency services are at Conington Airfield near Holme after a light airplane crash left one person with multiple broken bones.
Cambridgeshire police were called just before 11.30am this morning (Saturday, February 27) and are assisting ambulance crews and the fire service.
A police spokesman confirmed that a Microlight plane had crashed at the airfield (which it referred to as the Peterborough Business Airport) with one casualty suffering “multiple broken bones.”
The spokesman added that the Air Accident Investigation Branch were aware of the incident.
Conington Airfield has been contacted with the Peterborough Telegraph told that no comment would be made at the current time.
