Love is in the Aer - airline quizzes couples heading overseas for Valentine's Day

Aer Lingus have clocked up another 100,000 hits with their latest heartwarming video offering - this time, quizzing couples at the airport on romance and what they love about each other.

Aer Lingus spoke to a number of couples who were heading overseas for Valentine's Day about how they met, who was the more romantic of the couple and what they loved most about each other.

One couple told the airline they were off to Paris for the weekend, to which the husband added "Most people think it's for Valentine's, but it's for the match really".

How the couples met drew some funny and interesting stories from the couples. One man claimed his girlfriend "cornered (him)... and the rest is history", to which she laughed "I don't think that's how it went but you can tell yourself that, no problem".

One couple Aer Lingus spoke to "met on a blind date 53 years ago".
