Arik Air Unveils Payment Platform For Customers In Ghana
Arik Air, West and Central Africa’s largest airline, has unveiled new payment platform for customers in Accra, Ghana, aimed at simplifying the process of ticket payment, Footprint to Africa reports.
The new platform known as ‘Paga’ is now available in two banks, GT Bank and Standard Chartered Bank while Access Bank and Barclays Bank will join soon.
The Airline said intending passengers are required to book their tickets on the Arik Air Internet Booking Engine (IBE) and then make payment at any branch of GT Bank or Standard Chartered Bank within 12 hours.
After payment, an electronic copy of the E ticket and Email confirmation is sent to the passengers’ email address. Passengers can also visit the Arik Air ticketing Office at Kotoka International Airport Accra or City Ticketing Office for a hard copy of the ticket.
This new payment option, Footprint to Africa learnt is only available for passengers booking a flight 48 hours before departure date.
