CHICAGO — Uber is offering free rides to love birds today. But, these are sky high … in a helicopter.
Uber is teaming up with Chicago Helicopter Experience to offer 15-minute private flights over the city, complete with drinks and appetizers.
Here’s how it works: Open the Uber app between 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m., then enter the promo code “CHOPPERCHI.”
IF a helicopter is available, an Uber car will pick you and your date up and take you to the helipad at 2420 S. Halsted Street.
The flight will begin at the Bridgeport location and take couples over the water to Montrose Harbor and back.
Demand is expected to be extremely high and availability is very limited.
